What is the Learning and Relearning Curriculum?

There is a critical need to bridge the gap between the competencies of the current and emerging health care workforce and the requirements of a fully transformed system of care in Delaware. As health care reform activities pave the way for a higher-quality, more efficient health care system in the state, additional training is needed to ensure that the existing and emerging workforce is prepared to successfully practice within Delaware’s transformed health care system.

How does it work?

The training is designed in a six-module format. Each of the modules include virtual, in-person and webinar elements to best meet the needs of busy practices. At the virtual pre-work session, the topic and content for in-person sessions will be introduced, and participants will be given an action item to complete prior to the in-person session. The in-person training includes a live simulation and skills-based training as well as interactive peer-to-peer learning and sharing of best practices. A deep dive into the practice’s chosen area of priority will be the topic for the webinar series, which will include the use of interactive tools and webinars on specific topics.
